Anon: You know, that makes sense. It's really nice being able to hear that from someone. Thanks.
Anon: I’m seeing a therapist btw. My whole family is.
Anon: Sometimes, I wish it could all be over, even when I know it doesn’t work like that. I feel better now than before though, I swear.
Anon: So, thanks for that.
You can message me in the future too. Even just to talk if you need to take your mind off things.
Anon: I’d like that. Thank you again.
Anon: The anonymous names are kinda confusing, huh? I’m Lucille. I go by Lucy though.
She’s in my grade, in some of my classes. She has always been a bit quiet, but I never would’ve known this is what she’s going through if we never talked on this account. I start to think that this was one weird yet fortunate twist of fate.
Sounds good, Lucy :)
It has been a couple of weeks since I first saw Lucy's message. We've slowly gotten closer, and I've even been able to talk to her in class and eat lunch with her.Surprisingly, she has never really vented out any frustrations to me after that day. It seems being a distraction or listening ear is still a good form support most days.
Lucy: Did you see the post on our school's account? Our football team lost again! Man, we suck.
Yeah, but the rest of our sports teams are actually good.
It's a necessary sacrifice...
I get another notification. Thinking it’s Lucy, I click on it, only to be met with a completely new anonymous message.
Anon:

???
Who is this?
Anon: Oh shoot this account's alive??
Anon: My bad I thought this was some bot
Well, it IS pretty inactive...
Do you go to my school?
